ThreadsVideoDL is built not to need tracking cookies. Last updated 5 November 2026.
Choosing a language does not set a cookie. English lives at the root of the site and other languages live under a prefix such as /id/ or /ar/. The URL is the setting.
The downloader keeps rate-limit counters in memory on the server that handled the request. Those counters are not a browser cookie and they are not a profile of you.
We do not load advertising scripts, and we do not use a cookie banner to authorize analytics we do not run. If that changes, this page will change first and will name the cookie.
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may use strictly necessary cookies or similar tokens to keep the network safe, for example to filter abusive traffic. Those are part of operating the host, not an ad network we control. Browser controls can block cookies entirely. The paste box should still work because the tool does not depend on a first-party preference cookie.
Local preview and the optional unpacked extension do not add a tracking cookie either. The extension reads the current tab address only when you click its button.
