How to download Threads photos

The photo path is the same paste box as video, with images listed first.

1

Copy the post link

In Threads, open the photo or carousel and copy the share link. A /post/ URL works too.

2

Load the post

Paste it here and choose Load media. Each still image becomes its own card.

3

Save the JPG

Download one slide or use Download all. The label shows the pixel size we could read.

Screenshots versus the image file

A screenshot includes the Threads chrome: the reply count, the clock, and the crop your phone chose. The photo downloader asks for the image URL published with the public post and prefers the largest candidate that is not a square thumbnail. That is why the file is usually sharper than a screen capture of the same post.

Carousel posts are several images behind one link. They are not a single collage. After the preview loads you can save every slide. If one slide is a video, it is labeled as video so you do not save it as a still by mistake. Captions are not embedded in the JPG. Copy the words from the post if you need them.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download every photo in a carousel?

Yes. Each slide is a card. Download all saves them in sequence.

Will the photo have your watermark?

No. We do not stamp images. A mark that is already part of the picture stays.

Can I save a profile photo?

No. This page is for photos inside a public post, not avatars.

What if the post is only text?

There is no image to save. The downloader says no public media was found.
